But I promise you one thing, you just have to try it to see that it is one of the most easy, delicious and presentable recipes for an evening meal with friends, a party buffet.

This potato roll makes its way into my easy dinner idea index.

It can be accompanied or with a fresh salad for a very simple dinner, otherwise accompany a roast chicken, a roast guinea fowl, a roast turkey or otherwise a roast leg for a festive meal.

For me, all you need is a very fresh salad to accompany this potato roll because it is already very rich and hearty.

This potato roll is like shepherd’s pie.

The difference is that we are not going to prepare a mashed potato, or take out all these pots to make a single dish.

We will grate the potato, cook it in the oven as an omelet, it will cook quickly!

And the result is so soft that you think you’re eating a traditional mash.

The minced meat is cooked quickly in a pan, and seasoned to taste.

And in the end the assembly is very simple.

I really like using burger cheese to stuff this wrap.

Not only is it very tasty, also in contact with the heat of the oven, this cheese will melt to give all this good flavor to this very gourmet starter.

What is needed for this potato roll and minced meat?

Potatoes,

Onion,

Shallots,

triangles of cheese,

Eggs,

Sour creamotherwise sour cream and a fillet of lemon juice,

parsley

knorr cube chicken or ham

Salt, black pepper and nutmeg

For minced meat stuffing:

minced meat (mixture of beef and lamb), cooked in a little olive oil and seasoned with salt, crushed garlic, black pepper and chopped parsley.

How to prepare this potato roll with minced meat?

– Grate the cleaned and peeled potatoes,

– Finely chop the onions and parsley,

– Mix all these ingredients, with the whipped eggs, crumbled cheese and sour cream,

– Season with salt, black pepper, nutmeg and the half cube of knorr,

– Spread the mixture evenly, in a baking pan lined with a sheet of baking paper,

– Bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees C for almost 30 minutes,

– Meanwhile prepare the minced meat, cooking it in a little olive oil,

– then season during cooking with parsley, crushed garlic, salt and black pepper.

– Remove the tray from the oven, turn the contents on a clean cloth and try to remove the baking paper (watch the video below for more details).

  • grate the cleaned and peeled potatoes

  • finely chop the onions and parsley

  • mix all these ingredients, with the whipped eggs, crumbled cheese and sour cream

  • season with salt, black pepper, nutmeg and the half cube of knorr
